1958 CORGI TOYS GS3 RAF Land Rover No.351 & Thunderbird Missile & Trolley No.350 Thunderbird Missile & Trolley No.350. Available in the Gift Set between 1958 and 1963, The English Electric Thunderbird missile is on an RAF blue trolley. The nose cone of the missile didn't look like that in the 1950s (Pictures 4 & 15), but almost all of these suffer badly simply from aging. 1958 CORGI TOYS GS3 RAF Land Rover No.351 & Thunderbird Missile & Trolley No.350Nice Corgi Gift Set 3 (1958-63):RAF Land Rover No.351. c1958 - this is the earliest edition of the Land Rover 109 (fixed wheels; no suspension; four connecting 'bars' for the front bumper; two 'steps' / protruding pieces on the left and right at the lower rear, Picture 7; black tin-plate base). The 'tax disc' is dated 1961, but obviously added once purchased. The front spare in missing. Otherwise excellent condition. Some bumps and bruises here and there - the rear canopy is slightly dented on the top at the back (Picture 6); scratch to one windscreen, some isolated paint chips - inc bonnet (Picture 5); surface corrosion inside the canopy (Picture 10), etc but overall very nice indeed.Thunderbird Missile & Trolley No.350. In fact if there is a perfect nosecone it is almost certainly a replacement (which you can easily get). A few marks to the paint. The trolley has some chips to the bar underneath which steers the wheels (Picture 12), but overall complete - e.g. has the two metal pieces which keep the missile on the trailer.So a really nice set overall, see pictures!
