This is a Citizen Club La Mer pocket watch with a sterling silver (925) case. It features a high-precision quartz movement. These are my precious collection items. This is a rare silver-cased pocket watch from Citizen Club La Mer, a brand that was a huge hit in the 80s and 90s. To date, La Mer has only produced two types of pocket watches of this size, aside from color variations. It's quite rare. Overhauled in July 2023. The case is made of silver, so over time it will oxidize and change to a tarnished silver finish. It's a watch that you can enjoy as it ages. The watch case has been polished to a shine like stainless steel, but the chain has been left as is so that its aged, patina can be appreciated. The case will also change to this subdued color over time. And the great thing about it is that it can be polished to a shine again with a cloth. This watch has been completely disassembled and cleaned, so you can enjoy owning it for many years to come. Incidentally, I had this watch overhauled at a repair shop in Tokyo opened by a technician who used to work for Citizen. When I inquired with the manufacturer, they said they couldn't accept it for repair because it had passed the service life period, but they introduced me to a shop run by a former employee of our company that repairs such watches.
