Vintage 1946 Breitling Chronomat Ref 769 Chronograph Slide Rule Serviced W/Box • Printed instruction sheet on the Chronomat and its functions. • Original yellow Breitling presentation box. • Breitling polishing cloth. Condition: Used, good condition — visible signs of wear consistent with age, including light scratches. Vintage Breitling Geneve Chronomat, Reference 769 — Circa 1945 This is a genuine vintage Breitling Chronomat, reference 769, one of Breitling’s most historically significant chronographs. The two-register chronograph features the iconic rotating slide-rule bezel, silver dial with red and black tachymeter/telemeter scales, and “Swiss Made” markings. Service History: In 2002, this watch was fully serviced by a Certified Breitling Service specialist (documented invoice included). Work performed: complete disassembly, cleaning, oiling and adjustment of the movement; replacement mainspring; balance staff trued and poised; hairspring reshaping; replacement 3rd and 4th wheels; new shock-resistant stem; new crystal and slide-rule; factory-correct replacement dial; new blued steel hands with fresh luminous; new pusher springs and spring bars; case refinishing. Total documented service value: $1,189.
