Jerome & Darrow Miniature Shelf Clock – Mercedes Dial – German Mechanical Movement – Tested Over One Week – Keeps Excellent Time Description Offered for sale is a beautiful Marlow & Co., York, Pennsylvania miniature reproduction of the famous Jerome & Darrow Wood Shelf Clock (1825–1830). This quality miniature faithfully reproduces one of America's early shelf clock designs while incorporating a precision German-made mechanical movement. This clock has been tested continuously for over one week and keeps excellent, accurate time. It winds smoothly, runs reliably, and is ready to display or enjoy immediately. The hardwood case features an attractive reddish-brown finish with turned front columns, a polished brass-tone bezel, Roman numeral dial, ornate black hands, and a glass front door. The original historical paper label remains intact on the back.
