1940’s LAWSON Model 490 “New Yorker” Electric Desk Clock Beautifully refurbished 1940-48 LAWSON Model P40 Style #490 "New Yorker" electric desk/shelf clock. The works and rotor were cleaned, lubricated and adjusted for proper operation. The copper case has original finish which was cleaned and polished to a glossy sheen and brass trim was removed and buffed to a bright shine. Beautifully refurbished 1940-48 LAWSON Model P40 Style #490 "New Yorker" electric desk/shelf clock. This clock has been completely disassembled. The works and rotor were cleaned, lubricated and adjusted for proper operation. The copper case has original finish which was cleaned and polished to a glossy sheen and brass trim was removed and buffed to a bright shine. New vintage style wall plug and cloth covered line cord were installed for safety. Don't miss out on this classic Art Deco piece! These show up from time to time but you'll be hard pressed to find one as nice as this for a price like this! Perfect for the den or office but would work in most any room or be a great addition to that vintage clock collection. Tested for accuracy for 48 hours and didn't gain or lose any time during that period.  Future accuracy cannot be guaranteed. Please Note: While this clock has been completely refurbished, and is currently working properly, it is still 80+ years old and could fail at any time.
