EARLY Vintage Sun Tachometer Transmitter E-8 MAG 6 Cylinder Tall Case E8 Sun E-8 MAG 6 Cylinder transmitter. This early big case is the type that uses a D-Cell "flashlight" battery, not the 1.35 volt mercury cells that were used later on. This one is going to be from 1949-54 approximately. The year on the date stamp is smudged. This one is worth restoring or converting to solid state for the right period hotrod. I believe this would be the correct type transmitter for a D-1 or D-2 tach head. No returns. No refunds. There is no mystery here. No cancellations for accidental purchases.
