Original 1958 Chevy Dash Cluster. Super Clean. Up for sale is this very nice original 1958 Chevy dash cluster. I acquired it at a sale of car parts from an old gentleman who recently passed away. Clearly most of his parts had been removed from cars years (decades?). Up for sale is this very nice original 1958 Chevy dash cluster. I acquired it at a sale of car parts from an old gentleman who recently passed away. Clearly most of his parts had been removed from cars years (decades?) ago and put in dry storage. This dash cluster was part of a box of items that I purchased. I do not have a ’58 Chevy, so it was either to be hung up as garage art or sell to someone who can use it. I’ve opted to sell it. The cluster is in over all very nice shape. All I have done to it is clean off some dirt that collected from being stored. I’ve not polished anything. It is as you see it here. The lenses are in amazingly nice condition without any of the age lines or cracks I usually see in vintage car dashboards. I spun the speedometer drive on the back, and clearly it needs to be lubed up but the dial moved as it should. This would be a great start for someone who wants a nice gauge cluster in their car or fantastic as vintage garage wall art. The only issue that I see in it, I noticed when I was boxing it up and that is the crack at the top of the left lower section of the dash. Don’t know if it can be moved back into place or fixed, but wanted to mention that here. Feel free to contact me with any questions, and I’ll do my best to help out.The cluster has been packed securely in a large box to help make it safely to the purchaser. I used styrofoam and other materials to cushion and secure it for a safe journey.
