A beautiful vintage French Art Deco ceramic mantel clock by Orchies France, finished in a striking blue and turquoise drip glaze with a distinctive arched form. The case is marked Orchies France with the factory windmill logo and retains its original French clock movement and dial. Unfortunately, the movement is not currently working and the clock is offered as a restoration project or as a decorative Art Deco display piece. The ceramic case displays wonderfully, with its vibrant drip glaze making it a very eye-catching example of French Art Deco pottery. Ideal for collectors of Orchies ceramics, Art Deco interiors, or vintage French clocks. Please refer to the photographs for the best indication of condition and overall appearance. I actually think the ceramic case alone has good value, so even with the non-working movement I wouldn't let it go cheaply. A patient sale around £60 would be my aim.
