Kodak Blue BEAU BROWNIE 2 Camera 120 Film Walter Dorwin Teague Art Deco Rare HISTORY – The Beau Brownie seems to first appear in the 1931 Kodak & Kodak Supplies Catalog – which has a lovely Art Deco cover - one of the best in my opinion. Also has an empty film spool. Face Plate – Small Scuffs and Rubs – See photos. DESCRIPTION – This is a really nice example of the early to mid-1930s Kodak Beau Brownie No. 2 box camera with the original strap handle (often missing). Also has an empty film spool. The camera was designed to use 120 roll film and is fully working and ready to shoot. HISTORY – The Beau Brownie seems to first appear in the 1931 Kodak & Kodak Supplies Catalog – which has a lovely Art Deco cover - one of the best in my opinion. The exterior was designed by Walter Dorwin Teague; thus turning an ordinary box camera into a chic, colorful fashion accessory.
